Proof of system sustainability – Life Cycle Assessment and Eco-Design
Lyfe Cycle Assessment allows us to quantify, in an objective and verifiable way, the environmental impact of any product/service.
LCA associates the environmental impact with the product/service function and ensures same methodology used internationally. Different environmental impact indicators can be assessed: human and ecosystems health, climate change and resource depletion.
o Equipment energy efficiency.
Alltogether allow us to quantify, in an objective and verifiable way, the environmental impact of any product/service an to determine a prove of alignment with United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Reduction of raw materials use, energy saving, minimization of pollution and waste, reduction of costs.
Eco-Design (ISO 14006), Life Cycle Assessment, Environmental Product Declaration (EPD), CO2 footprint (ISO 14067).
In addition, CDEI-UPC offers its wide experience in the equipment design, eco-design, mechanical engineering, automation, prototyping and validation. Our team can contribute on design-thinking process and lead the materialization and test of innovative ideas.
