Techno-Economic Analysis (TEA) and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) of Low-Carbon Technologies
As a trained chemical engineer, I specialise in conceptual process design and integration, techno-economic assessment, material flow analysis, life cycle assessment, and policy analysis. I apply a systems approach that leverages the strengths of computational modelling, process integration, and sustainability assessment to design and optimise chemical, energy, and waste treatment systems. These efforts aim to support the energy transition, advance the circular economy, and achieve net-zero goals. My primary research areas include:
-Biorefineries (Thermochemical and biochemical processing of biomass)
-Decarbonised polygeneration system for hydrogen, chemical and energy production
-Waste valorisation for value-added product generation through advanced technologies
-Negative emission technologies (e.g. biorefineries with carbon capture, utilisation and storage)
-Sustainable waste management strategies using a systems approach
