We have vast knowledge in energy, mobility, data analysis, data security, cryptology, developing circular business models, social studies and smart systems.
We offer many different expertise in our labs and centers on energy, smart mobility and logistics, IOT solutions, cryptology, data security and analysis, different types of energy storages solutions and batteries. Apart from the different labs and centers in our university, we have a research and excellence center solely focuses on energy. Sabanci University Istanbul International Center for Energy and Climate (IICEC) that produces energy policy research. One of the most distinguished works of IICEC is the Turkey Energy Outlook (TEO) published in November 2020.
TEO proposes energy policies to further improve energy security, increase use of domestic energy resources, advance energy efficiency, build clean energy infrastructure, develop a more competitive energy market with cost-reflective energy pricing and also to support all necessary steps towards achieving a sustainable energy system in Turkey. TEO provides an independent assessment of changing technological opportunities and policy priorities to secure an efficient, competitive and sustainable energy future out to 2040. The know-how acquired by preparing the TEO is applicable to other countries to project energy models in different countries.
One of the many related research facilities our university is Smart Mobility and Logistics Lab which aims at facilitating and stimulating collaboration among faculty, students, and practitioners to foster continuous learning and translating knowledge into innovative solutions for making transport and logistics more efficient, smarter, greener, and safer.
Formed by the interdisciplinary vision of the university, research centers and labs include researchers from multiple disciplines. As Sabanci University, we would like to discuss your project proposals to support your consortium in different aspects. For more information please visit https://www.sabanciuniv.edu/en/
