• Qualification based on skills needs of the motorsport sector
• Innovative delivery and assessment approach focused on supporting Neurodiverse learners.
• Augmented and Virtual Reality making learning more engaging
• Race car aligned to the qualification
• Race series with education and training establishments competing against other as part of a national race series (longer term we will introduce an international series)

Brief description of my Organisation

SCU Motorsport is a small scale company focused on improving the delivery and assessment of technical education for the motorsport sector. Our aim is to make learning more accessible for Neurodiverse learners as well as more interesting and engaging for traditional learners. We are developing learning and assessment methodologies using Augmented and Virtual Reality that will introduce instant assessment. We are designing a race car that will be available to colleges and universities with; Hydrogen Fuel Cell, Direct Injection Hydrogen, Electric and Bio Fuels.

The programme is intended to provide:
- Mechanics - the correct skills to work in the motorsport sector, and an awareness of green technology and how it can support the longevity of motorsport, and enable them to work safely with the technology
- Engineers - opportunities to undertake research, design & development and make improvements to existing systems or develop new green technologies.
- Technical Partners - opportunities to test new components and systems
