Green Reporting and Energy Efficiency Network for SME Decarbonisation
Design a lightweight software platform that enables small and medium-sized enterprises to automatically track energy consumption, calculate CO₂ footprints, and manage decarbonisation projects — from audit to verified reporting. Unlike existing tools targeting large industry, this solution integrates directly with standard energy meters and ERP systems, generating ESG-compliant reports and identifying funding opportunities. Validated across industrial sectors in 3 countries.
PREDICT
Predictive building control using Energy Performance Certificates for Decarbonised Indoor Comfort and Temperature
Extend the EPC4SES approach into a trans-national framework: automatically derive thermal building models from energy performance certificate (EPC) data and use them as the basis for model predictive control (MPC) of heating, cooling and ventilation. The system integrates weather forecasts and occupancy patterns to minimise energy use without comfort loss. Validated on representative residential building archetypes across multiple European climate zones (e.g. Alpine, Mediterranean, Scandinavian).
