Recycled Concrete Fines Activation and CO₂ Mineralization
Baticim Cement is an integrated cement producer with expertise in cement manufacturing, alternative raw materials, waste valorisation and low-carbon cement technologies. We are seeking international R&D and technology partners to develop innovative solutions for the valorisation of secondary mineral resources from construction and demolition waste.
Our interest is in innovative treatment and activation approaches that can improve the properties and utilisation potential of recovered mineral fractions in low-carbon cementitious systems, including potential CO₂ utilisation pathways.
As an industrial partner, Baticim Cement can provide industrial process conditions, material and product testing capabilities, cement formulation expertise and opportunities for pilot and industrial-scale validation.
We are particularly interested in technology providers and SMEs with expertise in material activation, mineralisation, carbonation and advanced processing technologies, with potential for integration into cement production and development towards TRL 7–9.

Brief description of my Organisation
Baticim Cement is an integrated cement producer in Türkiye with extensive experience in cement production, alternative raw materials and fuels, waste valorisation and the development of low-carbon cement solutions.
Our R&D activities focus on reducing the carbon footprint of cement production, increasing the use of secondary and alternative raw materials, improving resource efficiency and developing circular solutions for the cement industry.
Within the scope of these activities, Baticim Cement is particularly interested in the valorisation of construction and demolition waste and the recovery of cement-rich fractions from waste concrete. Our current R&D interest includes the development of processes combining activation, CO₂ mineralization and the production of value-added cementitious materials.
As an industrial partner, Baticim Cement can provide industrial know-how, cement plant infrastructure, representative raw materials and waste streams, process and product testing capabilities, and opportunities for pilot and industrial-scale validation. We are interested in collaborating with technology providers, SMEs and industrial R&D partners developing innovative activation, carbonation, mineralization, separation or processing technologies for recycled concrete fines and related secondary mineral resources.
Our objective is to develop scalable solutions that simultaneously contribute to CO₂ reduction, waste valorisation, clinker reduction and circular use of mineral resources in cement production, with a clear pathway towards pilot and industrial demonstration.
