Smart and integrable concentrated hybrid PV module for building facade
Our proposal aims to develop innovative PV solar modules, based on high efficiency solar cells, that could be easily incorporated in the available areas of building façades (building integrated PV - BIPV or building applied PV - BAPV).
Bringing PV plants closer to consumption areas will not only reduce the need of energy transport, but also help the creation of micro-grids with lower energy cost and lower environment footprint.

Castros S.A. was founded in 1921, it is a well-known lighting design Portuguese company, aiming at turning its main activity more sustainable, but also extending its activities to new business areas supported by renewable technologies and materials with reduced environment footprint.
