XR Solutions for Optimizing PV Plant Operations and Maintenance
The project focuses on transforming PV plant operations and maintenance through the integration of advanced extended reality (XR) technologies, including virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and mixed reality (MR). By leveraging VR, existing digital twin models of PV plants can be monitored and visualized, enabling real-time data visualization and operational insights. VR platforms also allow the remote control of robotic task management systems to enhance the efficiency of maintenance operations. AR technologies further support real-time collaboration between on-site technicians and remote experts, improving troubleshooting and decision-making processes. Additionally, MR interfaces enable technicians to activate and control existing robotic systems, ensuring seamless task execution and precision. This structured approach combines real-time data visualization, interactive maintenance tools, and collaborative solutions to optimize workflows, enhance safety, and align with digital transformation goals in the renewable energy sector.
